It is said patience is a virtue and all good things come to those who wait. Well I have plenty of patience, as I work with down syndrome children. A job that is tremendously rewarding but also very difficult at times. For sure though, I have the patience for such a job. Now I wait for the good things that come to those who wait. Perhaps that good thing is you? I begin to wonder whether the virtue of patience is not better replaced by something Oscar Wilde once said, "I can resist anything except temptation". Maybe it is time for me to follow the words of Oscar Wilde? I will mention I have a bachelors degree in economics from Odessa University which I achieved many years ago, and honestly can say I have never used. I am much better suited for the caring and compassionate working life I think. Some character traits that would fit well in the home to!
